Aaron School Summer Program at 45th Street
July 1 – August 9, 2024
The Green Tree Summer School provides students with the opportunity to take part in a summer experience that incorporates academics, social skills, and pragmatic language development through an enriched recreational program!
Aaron School teachers plan and lead theme-based sessions that weave together reading, math, social skills, art, music, park visits, and field trips.
The Green Tree summer school is open to Aaron School students who have completed kindergarten through 7th grade. Students and activities are divided into age-appropriate groupings. Therapeutic services are available upon request. Contact us to personalize these services.
Session 1: July 1-July 12 (8:15 AM to 2:30 PM)
Land Before Time!
Let’s take a closer look at the giants that roamed the Earth millions of years ago! We’ll discover everything from the Tyrannosaurus to the Stegosaurus! Let’s have a DINO-MITE first session as we dig up fossils and uncover facts about many incredible prehistoric beasts!
Session 2: July 15-July 26 (8:15 AM to 2:30 PM)
Bust a Move!
Calling all dance fanatics! Let’s dance our way through the decades! Throughout this session, students will dance their way around the world by learning all about different styles of dance from Salsa to Irish step dancing while also immersing themselves in different cultures from around the world. We are going to have “TUTU” much fun electric sliding into these topics!
Session 3: July 29-August 9 (8:15 AM to 2:30 PM)
Sharks!
Drop your anchor and take a deep dive into the extraordinary world of sharks! Throughout this session, students will learn all about the many different types of sharks that roam the deep blue sea, as well as learn all about their unique diets and habitats! Let’s have a FIN-TASTIC time during our last session!
